Presentation of the Harmonization of the Case-law and the new Website of the Administrative Court

On December 4, 2024, an event entitled: “Presentation of the Harmonization of the Case-law and the new Website of the Administrative Court” was organized in the “Aeroclub”, with the support of the OSCE Mission to Serbia and the German Organization for International Cooperation (GIZ). The results of the OSCE Mission Project “Advancement and harmonization of the Administrative Court’s case-law” and Case-law database searching tools on the new website of the Administrative Court, which was created within the GIZ project “Strengthening the rule of law in  Serbia”, were formally presented to the expert public, along with the President of the Administrative Court, Judge Radojka Marinković, the Deputy Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany, Carsten Mayer-Wifhausen and the Senior Legal Advisor of the Department for the Rule of Law and Human Rights of the OSCE Mission to Serbia, Iva Nikšić. The moderator of the event was the spokesperson of the Administrative Court, Milka Murganić.

The President of the Administrative Court, Judge Radojka Marinković, thanked the representatives of the OSCE Mission and the German Organization for International Cooperation (GIZ) for their support in the implementation of these activities and the recognized importance of the administrative judiciary in strengthening the rule of law in the Republic of Serbia. She also pointed out that the new website of the Administrative Court and the accessibility of the case-law database will enable the interested public to better comprehend the legal challenges and understand the hearing in the administrative disputes, and that the need to strengthen capacity and improve the efficiency and quality of judicial protection in administrative disputes is a recommendation and a challenge for new joint projects.

The optimization of the case-law search functionality and its presentation on the Court’s new website https://www.up.sud.rs/ contribute to the transparency and efficiency of the Court’s work, as well as to more effective access by the interested public.
